At 6ft 9in wide with an impressive 6ft 4in head height, she provides a surprisingly spacious feel inside for a 42ft narrowboat. Engine & Systems She is powered by a reliable Lombardini diesel engine, situated in the stern engine compartment. The Boat has been insulated with Kingspan insulation, helping to retain warmth and reduce heat loss. For off-grid living, she is equipped with a Sterling 1200W inverter and an Adverc Pro battery charger, providing a useful electrical setup away from shore power. Heating is primarily provided by a solid-fuel stove, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere throughout the boat. There is also an Eberspächer heating system feeding radiators, giving additional heating when required. Hot water is heated from the engine through a calorifier, providing hot water while cruising and making good use of the engine's heat. Interior The interior is fitted out in a combination of redwood, plywood and vinyl, giving her a traditional, practical narrowboat feel while keeping the accommodation easy to maintain. The galley is fitted with a Vanette GG 7000 gas cooker and a 12V fridge, making the kitchen well suited to both cruising and off-grid use. The bathroom is a good size and includes a shower, wash basin and Porta Potti cassette toilet, providing all the essential facilities for comfortable life aboard. Facilities include electric hook-up, water points, showers, toilets, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, secure parking, pump-out and Elsan disposal, with diesel, gas, coal and logs also available. The location is particularly convenient, being just a short distance from Rufford railway station and close to the A59, with easy road access towards Ormskirk, Southport, Preston and Liverpool.
