60' Semi Trad 2006 Aqualine

About this boat

Moonshadow is a 60’ semi trad commissioned in 2006 by Aqualine, and the fit out is what you would expect from them. Classic Aqualine woodwork and style. She has been in the hands of the current owners since 2009 and was last blacked (with 6 new anodes) in late 2024, with the engine serviced in late 2025. The two gas bottles, with changeover valve, are in the bow locker, The well deck is covered by a serviceable cratch cover, there are bench seats / lockers either side, and the stainless steel water tank is underneath. Steps lead into the huge saloon. This is over 15’ long and is a blank space with room to add a dinette & sofa, armchairs, whatever you wish. There are storage options and a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove to keep you warm in the winter months. The galley has all you need...apart from needing to add a fridge, but you may prefer 230v or 12v. But there is space for one. There is a stainless steel sink with drainer, a 4 burner gas oven & grill, and plenty of storage. A side hatch on the starboard side adds light and air. The bathroom provides all the necessary things with a porcelain Thetford cassette loo (3 spare cassettes), a ceramic washbasin, a quadrant shower with light and extractor fan over, and several storage options. The bedroom in the rear cabin is spacious. The bed is 6’1’’3’10’ but extends to 4’10”wide. There is storage underneath. There are cupboards over the bed and at the foot of the bed is a double wardrobe with shelves in. Steps lead up to the the semi trad deck. The engine is an Isuzu 42, regularly serviced, she is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler to 4 radiators, and hot water is from the engine, the Webasto or an immersion heater. 12v power is from the bank of 4x 1100ah batteries, and 230v is from either landline hook up or the Victron 2kva inverter / charger. Batteries are topped up with the 495w of solar power through an Eperver solar controller. She has all the necessary navigation equipment on board to just turn the keys and go. This boat is off site on another mooring in Northamptonshire, near Thrapston. Viewings are by appointment only.
