About this boat
Jenny May has been my lovely floating home for 13 years. She has been the perfect first boat and is all set up for continuous cruising. She also has shoreline plug-in and cables for marina life. She has an unusually long cratch area which is perfect for storage, bikes, growing plants etc. The lounge area has a vintage Swedish day bed which is perfect for use as a sofa with storage under or you can pull out to make a little box bed. Boatman's stove was new in 2018. Back boiler with copper pipes for hot water in winter and warming the towel rail. Integrated car radio/CD player in corner cupboard. Kitchen has brand new gas oven with four hobs and grill. Professionally installed in 2025 and all gas hoses replaced at the same time. Side hatch is perfect for feeding the ducks. Bathroom has full size bath, ceramic sink and Porta Potti toilet with spare cassette. Stained glass panel in the window is included. Bedroom has pigeon box overhead for ventilation and stained glass panel insert. Calorifiers under the bed. There is a 12v solar water heater for the summer months. Hot water is also acquired by running the engine. Pine tongue and groove wood throughout which makes her feel warm & cosy. Insulation is polystyrene. Boat Safety just renewed till 2030. Engine is a Vetus m3.10. Has been regularly serviced. Hull has been regularly blacked, last blacking 2023. Two 400w solar panels on the roof. One is mounted on a roof box and can be tilted. 1600w inverter. Batteries are 4 x 110ah Trojans, new in 2020. Gas locker at the bow can take two gas bottles. Stern deck remade and professionally welded in 2020. Recent full repaint in Craftmaster Paints, taken back to bare metal, all windows taken out and resealed, 2025. She's looking lovely and ready to meet her new owner!
